The guide contains the most important steps in order to have access to a new form of credit for entrepreneurs in Paucarpata, Arequipa: a Solidarity Credit. The program provides a form of shared credit, through which, the people who take part of the group, who are dedicated to commercial and productive activities, have access to an individual credit, but the responsibility of it is collective. The credit program is designed and implemented thanks to the project "Women and young entrepreneurs for the promotion of local development"

The project was approved 6 years later its submission to the MAE. For this reason the aim of the intervention (the earthquake of 2001) was over. Nevertheless all problems affecting women and young people in charge of productive and commercial activities, identified were still ongoing.
Before starting the project we changed the approach and the target changed a little: before, the target group was women and young people in charge of commercial and productive activities affected by the earthquake; later the target group changed in “Women and young people in charge of informal commercial and productive activities living below the poverty line”. There were no changes in the impact because objectives, expected results and activities remained unchanged.
The event above mentioned forced us to change a little the characteristics of beneficiaries: women and young people in charge of informal productive and commercial activities living below the poverty line.
