The Italian Government decided to grant, as stated during the Paris Conference, an amount of 10 millions of Euro, as a budget support to the Lebanese Government, for the rehabilitation of priority infrastructures mainly in the health, in water system, and in social sectors. the Programme funded the following initiatives carried out by the CDR and Ministry of Social Affairs: - Water supply network in Dannieh - Rehabilitation of Baabda University Hospital - School integration of children with learning difficulties (cancelled, fund allocated to other MoSA projects: National Programme for Volunteerism, Social Development Projects, NGO Management Projects) - National Poverty Targeting System for Social Safety Nets Programs read more close

Main outcome

The Programme aims at contributing to recuperate the normal life conditions and the socioeconomic development of the Lebanon by enhancing basic social services to the population and supporting the rehabilitation of priority infrastructures damaged during the 2006 conflict
