The Health Pooled Fund III (HPF III) is part of the broader set of direct contributions to the Health Sector Development Programme (HSDP). The Multi-Donor Fund is owned by Ministry of Health (MoH), administered by UNICEF and aims to: i) Strengthen the system: to provide support to the Ministry of Health in planning, preparation of the budget and in the monitoring and evaluation of HSDP; ii) Strengthen the coordination capacity of the MoH; iii) To allow policy makers to take part in national and international conferences; iv) Monitor and evaluate the programs of HSDP; v) Provide training at every level of the health system ; vi) To sponsor meetings between the MoH and the private sector and provide technical assistance in the development of standards, guidelines and manuals; vii) To provide resources for the recruitment of national and international consultants; viii) Realization of researches relevant for the health sector; ix) To provide resources for other activities related to the implementation of HSDP; x) To cover the costs for workshops or seminars on institutional dialogue about harmonization and alignment. read more close
