a) The most important variation it was the involvement of the beneficiary Reina of the Quinche that originally have the role of purchase and transformation plant, but in this years it had problems of sustainability. b) It has voted and applied a National law and the regulation for the Organic Law of Popular Economy and Solidarity. This law also regulated the productive and associated structures of farmers and it has produced an important change in the Directive structure of the CNCs supported by the project; c)The communities where tourist activities are developed they are constantly under the threat of new prospectings and drilling of the oil industry, aspect that obviously it puts in danger the economic sustainability. CNC (Centros de Negocios Campesinos): Operational structures Associations (Federations) of Producers, equipes for receiving the product, to operate the first transformation (for example, desiccation and fermentation, separation of grain, etc.), and to store the product up to the moment of the sale. They are also known as Centros de Acopio (Centers of Harvest).
The project has an effect of accompaniment to the communities. The CNCs have shown increasing involvement to the different activities, inclusive the training on gender equality and it has increased the juvenile participation.
