Main outcome

Culture as a pillar of development has a central role to play in the promotion of intercultural dialogue and a culture of peace in Afghanistan. The stated goal of "unity within diversity" is a basis for a peaceful Afghanistan. The project is an excellent way both to preserve and analyse the estraordinary rich Timurid legacy of Herat but also, through the component of a managment plan, to ensure that this legacy is safeguarded and celebrated for future generations of Heratis , Afghans and visitors to Herat from abroad.
