Rising income of the populations living in the Tahoua Region, above all in the departments of: Illéla, Malzaba, Madaoua, Bouza, Abalak by improving to access at the markets and the agricultural inputs for producers of agro-pastoral basins, the reorganization and support of marketing outlets around poles of rural economic development.

The project will concern the majority of the Tahoua Region, constituted by departments of Abalak, Illéla, Malbaza, Madaoua, Bouza, in total 1.270.000 inhabitants (7,5% of country population, estimated at 16.600.000 people). In major part, the populations concerned by project are rural, and they live in one of the poorest areas of the country. Direct beneficiaries will be the rural populations, the communities, and associations of farmers or shepherds of the areas concerned by project. The direct beneficiaries are estimated at 448.000 people residents in the municipalities directly affected by realization of the tracks and the building/rehabilitation of markets of project.
