In line with the MDGs and the GET 2020 (OMS), the initiative intends to contribute to the eradication of the Trachoma (a bacterial infection that affects your eyes and is the leading preventable cause of blindness worldwide) in Ethiopia through an integrated community development program with special focus on Trachoma Prevention and Control applying Comprehensive SAFE (Surgery, Antibiotics, Facial cleanliness, Environmental sanitation) strategy, in the Amhara Region, in two zones of North and South Wollo. read more close

Reduce the prevalence of trachoma and and all other water related diseases, with main focus on women and children, in Dessie Zuria and Raya Kobo (North and South Wollo) Amhara Regional State.
