To strengthen the organisation structure and national capacities of the local Palestinian organisations (Community-based organizations, CBOs) and the organisations run by persons with disabilities through training courses and the creation of a network of DPOs; To strengthen the capacities and the competences of the DPOs for the promotion of rights for person with disabilities in all the West Bank through sensibilisation campaign at national and international level. read more close

- Workers working with persons with disabilities; - Creation of a National coordination of DPO highly qualified in order to create inclusive policies at a community level, governatorates and national level; - Palestinian and international community are sensibilised on the issues concerning the inclusion of persons with disabilities.

Direct beneficiaries are at least 1.200 Persons with Disabilities, and 70% are DcD. Moreover the initiative will reach: 80 workers of CBO and DPo, trained by RIDS on inclusive approach of People with disabilities, UN Conventions, CEDAW and CPRD; 40 workers are trained on awareness issues and advocacy for people with disabilities; 80 workers of CBOs active in protection and women empowerment are trained on gender issues and disabilities issues; 200 institutional actors and decision makers are taking part in local and national action; 220 mentally disable persons and their relatives are aware of their rights granted by Law 4/1999; At least 200 persons take part in cultural events foreseen in the project. Indirect beneficiaries are 6.100 persons.
