Main outcome

The project aims to support the proper training of children and adolescents aged 4 to 14 years of the municipality of Fayoum. T1 - ENSURE THAT ALL BOYS AND GIRLS COMPLETE A FULL COURSE OF PRIMARY SCHOOLING. MDG 2 - ACHIEVE UNIVERSAL PRIMARY EDUCATION.

Beneficiaries

The project will intervene in 12 villages and 12 elementary schools reaching the following beneficiaries: 480 children between 4 and 6 years, never enrolled in kindergarten; 600 girls between 9 and 14 years outside of the school system, or because they never registered, or because they are rejected by schools as outside the age limits prescribed by national law for entry (9 years); 48 teachers in the target communities and residents who are graduates, 12 employees of the Ministry of Education at the Department deputy regional oversight mechanisms of participation in schools, 2,880 students between 6 and 12 years, enrolled in primary schools target; 12 Unions of Students, each of 10 elected members; 12 Tips of the Institute, each of 15 members (principal, teachers, parents, social workers and representatives of the students); 12 principals, 12 social workers, 200 teachers, 6,000 children, parents and members of the target communities; 10 members of the General Committee of Child Protection of Fayoum (GCPC) and 15 members of the District Committees for Child Protection Youssef Siddiq and Abshaway (DCPC).
