Expected Results: R1: Unemployed women with disabilities, introduced and guided into the labor market. R2: Employed women with disabilities, strengthened in their professional skills. Counterpart authority Local partners will be the Gaza Chamber of Commerce (CdC), El Amal Rehabilitation Society (El Amal) and Social Developmental Forum (SDF). L’azione coinvolgerà, attivamente consulenti ed esperti della RIDS, composta oltre che da EducAid, da AIFO (Associazione Italiana Amici di Raoul Follereau), FISH (Federazione Italiana per il Superamento dell’Handicap) and DPI-Italia Onlus (Disable People International).

- 929 unemployed WwD with low income (less than 1000 NIS/month), with preference for the age group 18-40 years of age, will participate in the activities of socio-psychological support, professional training and social/labor integration. They will be identified by EducAid, partners and local CBOs/DPOs. Some of the WwD will be involved in more activities, in order to maintain the progressive and consistent logic of the intervention and create a positive synergy among the activities. - 30 WwD with work experience will follow advanced courses on media. They will be chosen among the WwD that have participated to the EducAid project training: "Include: socio-economic empowerment of WwD in the Gaza Strip" (DCI-GENDER/2012/301-155). This way the WwD will already have recieved basic training allowing them to follow advanced courses, completing the training course previously initiated. - 15 start ups managed by WwD will recieve advice from a FISH expert and a local expert. They will be selected from those beneficiaries of the fund for the creation of micro-enterprises implemented with EducAid project mentioned above. - 20 local CBOs/NGOs will participate to the RIDS activities on the mainstreaming of disabilities. - 250 people from private and no profit organizations will be more aware in regard to work placement for WwD. - 20 managers from private enterprises/ no profit organizations will be more aware in regard to work placement for WwD. - 20 enterprises/ no profit organizations will benefit from environmental and technological adaptation interventions. - 3000 students and 120 teachers of secondary schools will benefit from the awareness campaign.
