The Italian Government decided to grant, as stated during the Paris Conference, an amount of 10 millions of Euro, as a budget support to the Lebanese Government, for the rehabilitation of priority infrastructures and for developing services mainly in the health, in water system, environment, cultural heritage and economic development. The Programme funded the following initiatives carried out by the CDR and CNRS: - Chamaa Castle conservation project (0.7 millions of Euro) - Rehabilitation of Khan el-Ishli in Saida (1.5 millions of Euro) - Water supply network in Koura and surrounding area (4 millions of Euro) - Environmental monitoring research boat - Qana Boat (2.3 millions of Euro) - 0.3 million of Euro as additional funds for the project "Rehabilitation of Baabda University Hospital" read more close
