Description

The project was designed to support the increase in the volume and quality of health workers, according to the priorities defined by the Government of Mozambique that was committed to deal with the shortage of human resources for the health sector (HRHS). It is articulated in two components: training and management of the HRHS. The intervention has a national dimension, and it is implemented in the provinces of Sofala and City of Maputo. The target group is the technical staff of the health sector, through the initial training activities for health workers, the continuous training for the work of technicians in service, qualification and professional development for the institutes of education teachers, activities aimed at retaining health professionals in the national health system.
