Description

The project aims to develop human resources and improve the quality of the workforce through vocational training, involving three Vietnamese schools. Through the provision of advanced machinery, training of school staff and updating of the taught curricula - as to the demands of the Vietnamese labour market - schools can significantly improve the quality of the provided vocational training. The beneficiaries of the initiative are identified in both the staff of the schools that will participate in the training events and the enrolled students and workers that will be prepared to perform jobs that require high specialization. The project is funded by MAECI-DGCS and sees the involvement of the General Department of Vocational Training of the Vietnamese Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, as well as of the mentioned vocational training centres. The purpose of the project is in line with the policies and development priorities of the Government of Vietnam. Since the initiative is at an advanced stage of formulation, it should be noted that it has been planned (but not yet approved) a soft loan of 3.5 million Euro for the realization of the planned activities and grant of 300,000 Euro for technical assistance. read more close
